Home on Lake Como

The project called for large, bright spaces where the essential quality of the volumes, colors and materials complemented the lake view.

The spare, minimalist spaces and geometrically regular architectural volumes required a floor that would add dynamism and personality. The herring-bone pattern was, in that sense, the perfect solution for the day area while on the upper floor we find a straight board pattern. Oak was used for all the floorings.
